Correct Answer is Option [B]

Let the speed be "x" & usual time taken be "t".

Therefore, speed = (distance/time) => x=(d/t)
By decreasing by 25%, 0.75x=(d/t+8)
Since the distance is same, xt = 0.75x * (t+8) => t=24 min.
New time of reaching the office is t+8 = 24+8 = 32mins.

answer is B.
V*t=(0.75*v) (t+8)
solving this we get 24 and 32

By going through the options...
1)22,30
25% of 30 =7.5
(30-7.5)=22.5 not equal to 22.
2)24,32
25% of 32=8
(32-8)=24 .. It is the decreased speed.
finally it matches with the options. available

Jst repeat the same prices for 3 nd 4 options.... The combination does not satisfy... Only 2nd option satisfies the principle mentioned in the question
