consider 1 litre milk is 1 Rs.
so from first can 70/100 is milk which 7/10
7/10 litre milk is 7/10 Rs

second can 6/10 litre is 6/10 Rs.

mixure ratio is 4:5
milk is 5/9

7/10 6/10

4/90 : 13/90

milk is 13/17 parts
so (13/17)*16 litres milk
so 12.2litres milk and 3.8litres water

First can contains 30% of water ie 3/10
So the milk contained is (1-3/10)=7/10
Second can contains 40% water ie 4/10
So milk = 6/10
Now the milk in final litre of mix =(7/10+6/10)/2=13/20
(13/20-7/10)=1/20 and (7/10-13/20)=1/20
So the ratio is 1:1
1/2*16 = 8
So ans is 8 litres and 8 litres
