Let the CP of the mixture be x
As the mixture is sold at a profit of 20%, the SP would be x + 0.2x
Given, the SP of mixture is 194.4
Hence, x=0.2x = 194.4
On solving, we get x = 162
Now we can apply allegation formula

CP of first tea = Rs. 192 per kg.
CP of Second tea = Rs. 150 per kg.
Mixture is to be sold in Rs. 194.40 per kg, which has included 20% profit. So,
SP of Mixture = Rs. 194.40 per kg.
Let the CP of Mixture be Rs. X per kg. Therefore,
X + 20% of X = SP
6X5
= 194.40
6X = 194.40 *5
X = Rs. 162 per kg.
Let N kg of first tea and M kg of second tea to be added.
Now, Using Alligation,
We get,

S.P = 194.4
C.P= X
now S.P = C.P+ 20% of C.P
=> 194.4 = X+20% of X
=> 194.4 = X+1/5 of X (as 20% = 1/5)
=> 194.4 = 6X /5 => 194.4 x 5 / 6 = 162

C.P of first tea = Rs. 192 per kg
C.P of second tea = Rs. 150 per kg
S.P of the mixture = Rs. 194.40 per kg.
Profit =20%
Let C.P of the mixture be Rs. x per kg
⇒x+20% of x =194.40
6x /5 = 194.40
6x = 194.40* 5
X = 972/ 6
X = rs. 162 per kg.
Let N be the first kg of tea and M be the second kg of tea .
Thus alligation, we have
First tea = 162 - 150 = 12.
Second tea = 192 - 162 = 30
M/N = 12 / 30
N / M = 2/ 5.
N:M = 2: 5.
