verify options would be better for such questions
assume, She is able to get 12 apples for Rs. 12. It means the reduced price is Rs 1 per apple.
And she got these apples after reducing Rs. 1 on per dozen.
So, Initial price was Rs. 13 per 12 apples.
In other words, let initial price was x per dozen.
Then, Reduced price,
X - 1 = 12
X = 13.
