CP of 2000 sticks = 2000 * 350 =700000 ;
10 % of 2000 were faulty so remaining sticks = 1800
profit %= ((SP-CP)/CP)*100 =8
((SP-700000)/700000)*100=8 =>SP= 7560000 ; So SP of each stick=7560000/1800=420

10% of 2000 = 200 were faulty
CP of 2000 sticks = 2000 * 350 = 700000

profit % = (SP - CP ) / CP
=> 8 = ( SP - 700000 ) / 700000
=> SP of 1800 sticks = 6300000
=> SP of each stick = Rs 3500

total cost price of 2000 sticks=350*2000=700000
10% of 2000 sticks=2000*10/1000=2000
no of remaining sticks=2000-200=1800
8% of 700000=700000*8/100=56000
so total amount=C.P +Profit
==>756000
cost of one stick=756000/1800
==>Rs.420

cost price of 2000 sticks=rs.7,00,000
to sell 8% profit, to sell 1800 sticks at rupees 7,56,000
cost of each stick=756,000/1800=rupees 420

Defected no of sticks=10% of 2000=200
C.P. Of 1 stick=350
Gain% =8%
S.P. Of 1 stick=( (100+gain%)*C.P.)/100
=Rs. 378

C.P. of 2000 hockey sticks = Rs 350*2000 = Rs 700000
Also, faulty sticks = 200
Therefore, no of sticks to be sold = 2000-200 = 1800
To get 8% profit S.P. = Rs 700000*1.08 = 756000
Therefore, selling price of each stick = 756000/1800 = Rs 420 Ans.

10% of 2000 is 200
remaining are 1800
let the s.p of each be x
((1800x - 700000) / 700000 ) * 100 = 8
x=420/-
there fore the price should be 420/-

CP of each stick=Rs.350

total invested amount=2000*Rs.350
=Rs.700000

faulty sticks=10/100*2000=200

Remaining sticks=2000-200=1800

expected profit percentage=8%

8=((SP/CP)-1)*100

8=((SP/700000)-1)*100

8=((SP-700000)/700000)*100
8=((SP-700000)/7000)

7000*8=SP-700000
7000*8+700000=SP
56000+700000=SP

SP=756000

Selling price of each stick=756000/1800=420

8% of the cost is Rs.57500
removing 20% of the sticks total no. of sticks=1800 and these should sold with total amount of Rs.787500
shopkeeper should sell each stick with Rs.437.50 (1800*437.50=787500)
