rate of tea cup can be directly seen as 25per cup.
to calculate rate of coffee cup, we have to understand the line carefully,
it is saying "maximum of 15 cups", ie the rate has been minimized so as to buy it maximum.
if we calculate the rate of cup then it will come around 66.66. but this is the maximum rate of the 15 cups to be completely purchased.
here we should consider minimum value of x for which 16*(x)>1000
and the minimum value is 63.
if we buy 16 cups at the rate of 63, we cannot buy the 16th cup at this rate.
hence 63/coffee is the minimized(bargained rate) to purchase maximum coffee cup.

now we can clearly see that no of coffee cups that can be purchased is (2000/63)=31.74
hence 31 cups can be purchased.

30 cups of coffee.

explanation:
price of a cup of tea =600/24=25
price of 8 cups of tea=25*8=200

remaining amount=2200-200=2000
in rs 1000 he can buy max of 15 cups of coffee.
so he can purchase 30 cups of coffee.

600=24T max
hence cheapest T=25
1000=15C max
hence cheapest C=200/3
Therefore, 8C=200 cheapest.. can be more than that
Therefore max money left is 2000
2000=30 cheapest cups of coffee( max)
The answer has to be less than 30
on 27 satisfies

1 cup of tea costs = 600/24 = 25/-
1 cup of coffee costs = 1000/15 = 66.666/-
8 cups of tea cost = 25*8 = 200/-
he has 2200/- with him..
cost of x cups of coffee = total - cost of 8 cups of tea = 2200 - 200 = 2000/-
thus, x cups of coffee for 2000/- = 2000/66 = 30.303030 = 31
