C is a Equilateral triangle
A is a triangle whose two sides are greater than third ie. 2+3>4
therefore D is not a triangle since it does not meet the above condition

For any 3 line segments to form a triangle,the sum of any 2 sides taken, should be greater than the 3rd side.B'coz otherwise it will not form a triangle. The extreme case arises when the sum of 2 sides equals the 3rd side. This triangle ceases to form a line segment;ie, the 3 side lie on the same line.
In the given case,only the triangle(D) dissagrees the condition,since 1+3 = 4 < 5

any triangle should satisfy 2 conditions :
1)sum of 2 sides of triangle should be greater than the third side
2)difference b/w two sides should be less than the third side
so 1+3 < 5 which doesn't satisfy 1st condition

D)(1,3,5)..Given any triangle, if a, b, and c are the lengths of the sides, the following is always true:

a + b > c

a + c > b

b + c > a

The triangle inequality theorem is very useful when one needs to determine if any 3 given sides will form of a triangle or not.

In other words, if the 3 conditions above are not met, you can immediately conclude that it is not a triangle.
