Solution

since sugar is non volatile so only water will be evaporated, and density of the solution after adding sugar is also not given, so approximation by SARAVANAN.S is good. His answer is right

it is 33.33%
given 25 liters of sol has 20% sugar .
qty of sugar =(20%/100%)*25 =5 lit of sugar
(assume sugar qty in liter for easy calculation ).
therefore 25 lit sol contain 20 lit of water and 5 liter of sugar .
now the sol boils losing 10 liter of water .
therefore the new 15 liter sol contains 10 liter water and 5 liter sugar . there new % of sugar is 5/15 * 100 =33.33%

A solution of 25 liters contain 20% sugar.
means it has 5 litres of sugar and 20 ltr of water.
if 10 liters of the solution is evaporated, means 10 litres of water is evaporated, and 10 litres of water and 5 litres of sugar is left.

then 100*5/15 =33.33 % of sugar is there in final solution.

10% of solution is evaporated i.e water only
remaining solution = 15 liter that contain 5 liter sugar remain as prior solution
5/15*100=33.33%

it is 29.4%.
in given solution,we have 20 liters of liquid and 5 liters sugar.
so in 10 liters we have 8 liters of liquid and 2 liters sugar.
so 8 liters of liquid is evaporated.
now new solution is(20-8)liquid+(3+2)sugar.
which is (12+5)=17 liters of solution.
% of sugar in new solution is 5/17*100=29.41

therefore if evap. is 10 ltrs of which 2 ltrs sugar and 8 ltrs water.
so mix is 15ltrs and 3 ltrs sugar rest is water.
3/15*100
