3 digit numbers range from 100 to 999.
Out of these the numbers that will give remainder 4 when divided by 5 are..,
104,109,114,...999
this forms an A.P with a=104,tn=999 and d=5;
To find n:
tn=a+(n-1)d
==>999=104+(n-1)5
==>n=180
Sum of n terms in an A.P is
(n/2)*(a+l), where l is the last term.
Substituting in formula,
we get Sum=99270.........
