when we select 2 numbers (without any restriction) we have 25 choices for the first no and 25 choices for the next number. so total ways are 25*25=625.
when the 2 nos need not be equal obviously we have 25 choices for the 1st no and 24 choices for the second no.
probability=24*25/25*25=24/25

the total number of sample spaces are 625 out of these possibilities for a and b are equal are (1,1),(2,2).......(25,25).hence the probability would be 1/25 hence we can find the probability for which and bb are unequal would be 24/25

prob of first number, a= (25C1)/(25C1) = 1.
prob of second number, b= (24C1)/(25C1) = 24/25.
Therefore, prob of a and b will be = 1 * (24/25) =24/25.
