ans= 2and 1/2 days
(7 men & 6 women )'s 5 days work = (9 men & 7 women)'s 4 days work
=>(35 men & 30 women )'s 1 days work = (36 men & 28 women)'s 1 days work
=> 1 man's 1 day work = 2 women's 1 day work
=> (7 men & 6 women )'s work = 2*7+6= 20 women's work
7 men & 6 women i.e. 20 women can complete it works =5 days
=>17 men & 6 women i.e. 17*2+6=40 women will complete = 5*20/40
= 5/2
= 2 and 1/2 days
