ANSWER: A or D or may be a Dummy question. Because if we consider D as lying and A,B,C saying truth, then A is in fourth position. Other than that condition, for all other condition D is in fourth position. PROOF: Possible seat combinations are 1)if A is lying-CBAD 2)if C is lying- ABCD(or)ACBD 3)if D is lying-CDBA(or)CBDA 4)if B is lying- u cant come into a seating conclusion and conditions overlap. so A or D or Dummy question...

D is in fourth position
A might be false
So C occupies 1st position
B occupies 2nd position
A occupies 3rd position(As A is false & says its not in 3rd so its in 3rd)
D occupies 4th position
Now all the conditions are satisfied

EXPLANATION:
If three of them are speaking truth and one of them is lying.
so here total 4 combination of truth: 1)A,B,C
2)A,C,D
3)B,C,D
4)A,C,D
so according to above all 4 combination we see that always D is in the fourth position
