because in a system of equations
a1x+b1y=c1...(i)
a2x+b2y=c2...(ii)
if a1/a2=b1/b2..(iii)
then this system of equations will have no solution.
and in the given question
4/2=2/1
=> 2/1=2/1
that satisfy equation (iii)
so there will not be any solution of the given question.
