we consider the 2 pens as one group and arranged in 2! ways first,remaining three arranged in 3! ways

As we have to give in prefix we have 2 positions which is 3C2

d ans il b 3p2*3!
v cant tk 4! bcz dere il b an outcm f purchasd pen 2 cm at last n as mentiond in d questn dat it shud occur as prefix..
so 3! to rotate other pens and 3p2 to chose pen frm those purchased v have used permultation here cz its a matter f arrangment here

3*2=6
ways to order prefix 2 pens and 3! to arrange remaining 3 pens
so total no. of ways = 6+ 3!
=12.

3!*2!=12.
3! because the first 2 positions are fixed and the remaining positions can be arranged in 3! ways.
2! because the 1st two positions with the new pen can be arranged in 2! ways.
Therefore 2!*3!
