In probability theory and statistics, where the variable p is the probability in favor of a binary event, and the probability against the event is therefore 1-p, "the odds" of the event are the quotient of the two i.e p/(1-p).similrly The odds against the event with probability given as p are (1-p)/p.
so here in this problem,max amount can be attained only wen all 4 coins are of 8Rs each. where p=the probaility of selecting 4 coins so as to yield max amount among the total possble events.So based on the favourable events possble the value of p=8c4/20c4,which is equal to 14/969.So the odds in favour of getting the max amount =p/(1-p)=(14/969)/(1-(14/969))===14/955(The Ans.)though plzz giv necessry feedbacks 4 my answer..

total no: of coin=20
favorable case for yielding max amnt= all 4 coin drawn are rs 8 coin

probability of fav case: 8c4/20c4
so, odd cases= 1- 8c4/20c4
ans is: 962:969
