Solution

Given that x = 2 + 2^(2/3) + 2^(1/3)
so x - 2 = 2^(2/3) + 2^(1/3)
or (x-2)^3 = [2^(2/3)+2^(1/3)]^3
or x^3 - 8 - 6x(x-2) = 2^2 + 2^1 + 3*[2^{(2/3)+(1/3)}[2^(2/3)+2^(1/3)
or x^3 - 8 - 6x^2 + 12x = 4 + 2 + 6(x-2)
or x^3 - 8 -6x^2 + 12x = 6 + 6x - 12
or x^3 - 6x^2 +6x = 2

(x-2)^3=[2^(2/3)+2^(1/3)]
or,x^3-6x^2+6x-2=0

u have to put [2^(2/3)+2^(1/3)] as x-2 in the middle of the cubic terms calculation
