profit =0.50paisa
c.p=1rp(for 3 oranges) and 1.50ps(for 2 oranges at 1rp,1 orange at 0.50ps)=2.5rp
s.p=3(total oranges=6,and two oranges cost=1rp)
hence profit=c.p-s.p=3-2.5=0.5=5/100=20%

Let us take LCM of quantities purchased and sold i.e. LCM of 3, 2 and 2 is 6.
Now, cost price of 6 oranges @ 3 oranges for a rupee = 13 x 6 = Rs. 2
And, cost price of 6 oranges @ 2 oranges for a rupee = 12 x 6 = Rs. 3
Therefore, Cost price of 12 (i.e. 6 + 6) oranges = Rs. 2 + Rs. 3 = Rs. 5
Selling price of 12 oranges = 12 x 12 = Rs. 6
Profit = Rs. 6 - Rs. 5 = Re. 1 on Rs. 5
Therefore, Profit percent = 15 = 20%

profit is 20%

c.p = 1( 3 for one rupee) + 1.5( same no of apples at 2 for one rupee)
c.p= 2.5
now s.p = 3
s.p-c.p=3-2.5=0.5

Equal no of oranges cought in the following cases:
taking rupees in paisa,
3 oranges = 100 paisa
2 oranges = 100 paisa
adding the above:-
5 oranges = 200 paisa
c.p of 1 orange = 40 paisa

selling oranges:
2 oranges = 100 paisa
S.P of 1 orange = 50 paisa

profit=(50-40)=10 paisa

profit % =(10/40)*100= 25% Ans.
