ans= 20
if game played=x
then lost game=x/5
now they played 5 more games in which they lost 2
so, (x+5)*25/100=x/5 + 2
x=15
so total game he played=15+5 = 20

we can also do this problem like this..
let us consider they have played 10 games out of which they won 8 games
next they have played 5 more games out of which they won 3 games and lost 2so now they have lost 4 games
by hit and trail if the answer is 20 games then 16%of20 means 4 games ie this is the only option which shows they have lost 4 games
so the ans is 20

let the total no of games played by the team be 10

team wins 80% of the game it played --> 10*(80/100)= 8

so the team has won 8 games and lost 2

it is given that 5 more games are played

which implies, 10+5=15

and also given that it lost 2 and won 3 ( in tat 5 games)

so total number of games won is 8+3=11

total number of games lost = 4

hence total number of games played = 15

here loss percentage (25 % ) is given to confuse

ANSWER: 15

Initially 80% win percentage and 20% loss percentage,
after playing 5 game, 75% win percentage and 25% loss percentage.
i.e. 80%-75%=3/5 (as out of 5 games 3 games are won)
=>5% = 3/5
=>100% = 3/25*100=12

similarly, 25% - 20% = 2/5 (as 2 out of 5 games are lost)
=> 5% = 2/5
=>100% = 2/25*100=8

hence, total match played =12+8 = 20

Let total number of games initially played be n
Team won 80% of the games => Lost games = 20% of n = n5n5
After that they played 5 more games in which they lost 2
Now their loss
(n+5) ×25100×25100 = n5n5 + 2
n=15
Therefore total games the team played=15+5 = 20

LET Y=5 GAMES PLAYED
3 WON MEANS 60% WON
COMBINELY WE HAVE 25% LOSS MEANS 75% GAIN SO

(T-Y)80+(5*60)=T*75
T=20

Assume they played x games before the match.

As there win %age is 80 they won 0.8x games and lost the rest i.e. 0.2x games.

After playing 5 more games they lost 2 and there loss %age became 25%.

This can be written as,

Total lost gamesTotal games played⋅100=25
0.2x+2x+5=.25
x=15
So they played 20 games in total.

total loss%=[(total loss)/total games]*100
total loss%=25
totl loss=20% of x+2
total games=x+5
solving that we get x=15 and total game=x+5
so 15+5=20ans
