If he uses 7 trucks, then at the end of the 4th day he can clear all the orders. Alternatively, if he uses only 3 trucks, then all the orders are cleared at the end of the 10th day. What is the minimum number of trucks required so that there will be no pending order at the end of the 5th day?

answeer = 6
let no. of orders received per day be x
no.of pending orders be y
no of items delerved per truck be n
no of trucks per day reqd.to clear pending odders in 5 days be t
the we have 3 equations for 3 different situation given in question.-
4x + y = 4*7*n
10x + y = 10*3*n
5x + y = 5*t*n
solving it (determinant) , we get t = 5.67 , since no of truck must be integral value, therefore no. of truck = 6
