AB+BC=12 and BC+CD =10 hence BC=12-AB and BC= 10-CD hence 12-AB = 10 -CD
AB-CD = 2 AB-CD is nothing but BC, hence bc= 2

this one is tricky one

let the distance btn A and B is d1
B and C is d2
C and D is d3
so d1+d2=12
d2+d3=10

subtracting two eqn we will get d1-d3=2
or d1=2+d3

now think for a value for d3
let it is 4 (i am gvng here the crct ans for the 1st attempt u can try another choice)
so d1=d3+2=6
now which value will be added so that d1+d2=12 and d2+d3=10
then the ans for d2 is 6

as they aren't given that doors are equidistant,we can predict the answer between 0m and 10 mts.

ab+bc = 12
bc + cd = 10
after subtracting
ab - cd = 2
i.e. bc = 2 final answer

I think the ans is 5 the distance btw B and D is 10 so B C D it would be 5 and 5 then the dis btw A and C is 12 since 5 is there the 12-5=7 so A to B is 7 B to C is 5 and C to D is 5

BC=2 because it satifies the condition.since AB+BC=12 AND BC+CD=10
FROM ABOVE TWO EQUATIONS AB=CD+2 AND ALSO CD=10-BC SO BC=2 SATISIES THE CONDITIONS...

A----B-------C------D u cnt say until d dstnce btw A and D is knwn @rupali AD-AB-CD is nothng but BC not smply AB-CD ...... @swastik thre r lots of posblts AB=8,BC=4,CD=6... AB=5,BC=7,CD=3..... AB=3,BC=9,CD=1.... AB=6,BC=6,CD=4 are all wrks so thnk dr will b an optn cant b dtrmn .........
