First burn one candle completely. It takes 60 min. Once it burnt completely, burn the next candle from both ends. It takes 30 min. Hence 90 minutes is measured.

Burn one candle from both sides ( if possible ) and other candle from one side.

First candle will burn in 30 minutes . When this candle is fully burnt, burn the second candle from other side also.

This candle will completely burn after 15 minutes in addition to initial 30 miutes and in total 45 minutes from begining.

Since each candle burn 1 hour, first, light up the two ends of the 1st candle. It will finish in 30 minutes .After the completion of 1st candle , light up the
one end of the second candle.it will finish in 60 minutes .i.e (30+60=90)

At first, light only the first candle when it burns completely(60 minutes) burn the second candle at both the ends and when the second candle gets completed(30 minutes).So the burning time of the first candle and the second candle together gives 90 minutes

First light up the two ends of the 1st candle. When it will burn out light up one end of the second candle. (30+60=90)

light the first candle at first and wait until it's fully burnt.this covers 1 hour
or 60 mins.At this instant light both the ends of the second candle.the second candle takes 30 mins to burn completely.thus (60+30) = 90 mins are measured.
