income of c is 3x,expenditure of c is 4y
income of d is 4x,expenditure of d is 5y
save ratio of c and d is now 3x-4y:4x-5y
given that 3x-4y=1/4(3x) we get x/y is 16/9
substituting this ratio in save ratio we get savings ratio of c and d is 12:19

income of C=Ci
Income of D=Di
Similarly Ce, De, Cs, Ds for exp. and savings.

Ci/Di=3/4
>Di=4Ci/3

Ce/De=4/5

Cs=Ci/4

Cs=Ci-Ce
>Ci/4=Ci-Ce
>Ce=3Ci/4

De=5Ce/4
therefore, De= (5*3 Ci)/(4*4)=15Ci/16

Cs/Ds= (Ci/4) / {(4Ci/3)-(15Ci/16)}
= 12/19

income of c and d are 3x and 4x resp. and expenditure is 4y and 5y resp. and saving of c is 1/4th of income..i.e. 3x/4.
now income-expenditure=saving...we get y=9x/16 (on substituting d values)
so, (3x/4)/(4x-5y) put d value of y here and u'll get saving ratio as 12/19

ans is 4/9
for c: 3x-4y=x/4
for d: 4x-5y=9x/16 ( by substitute value of y from above eqn of c;)

ratio = x/4 : 9x/16 = 4/9

Let Income of C:D(3:4) are 300 : 400
and expendiures are(4:5) 200 : 250. Bcoz C saving (1/3) means=100
den C : D income is 300-200 : 400-250
100 : 150 is 2 : 3 ans
