ADSRUB keep AB as constany remaining 4 letters can be arranged in 4! ways nd dn keep AD as constant we have another 4! ways as same as above total is 48 words so it clearly says dat the word starts with AD as it is 40th word it cant b ADB so as per options it can b ADSRUB

ABRUSD DICTIONARY ORDER IS:- ABDRSU
A----- (fixd A)= 5!=120 |words. so your 40th words should in the words.
start from A
AB---- (fixd B)= 4!=24 |in dictionary order come A thebn B or C....
sart from AB is only 24 words so we search in AD.
AD---- (fixd D)= 4! =24 but ther is total 24+24 = 48 words so 40th start from
AD...
ABD--- (fixd D) = 3! =6 (total = 24+6 =30)
ABR--- (fixd R)=3!=6 (total = 30+6=36)
ABSDRU 37th
ABSDUR 38th
ABSRDU 39th
ABSRUD 4oth :)
AD
