AS IT IS CLEARLY GIVEN IN THE QUESTION THAT HE REACHES PUNE IN ONE HOUR, AND SEES ONE TRAIN AFTER EVERY FIVE MINUTES.... SO THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH VELOCITY OF APPROACHING TRAIN...SO HE'LL SEE 12 TRAINS ON HIS WAY....

13...at the start of his journey (0 hr), 1 train passes. after that next train at 5, 10, 15...60 (total 12)... 12+1=13...
