answer is 48%.
here let the c.p of 1w iz Re. 1
then c.p for 5w =5^2=25
c.p. for 2w =2^2=4
c.p for 3w =3^2=9
loss %= (25-13)/25*100=12*4=48.

the cost of diamond in the original state is proportional to x^2
when it is fallen it breaks into two peices 2y and the 3y
5y=x
the weight with respect to original is 2x/5 and 3x/5
so the total cost 13x^2 / 25
so percentage cost will be 13/25*100= 52%
so the percentage loss will be 48%

the cost of diamond in the original state is (2x+3x)^2 = 25x^2
After falling
the cost of diamond= (2x)^2+(3x)^2
= 13x^2
so loss=25x^2-13x^2=12x^2
so loss percentage will be (12x^2/25x^2)*100= 48%

Since it is broken in two part by weight its two ratio 2:3
That mean oroginal weight =2+3=5
Given that cost of it is equal to square of its weight.
so cost of original=5^2=25
nd cost of broken parts are......2^2 nd 3^2 that is 4 nd 9 ,
so total cost is 9+4=13
lose in cost=25-13=12
Loss %=12/25)×100=48%
