There are 4C2 = 6 ways to choose two parallel lines from the set of 4 parallel lines. There are 7C2 = 21 ways to choose two parallel lines from a set of 7 parallel lines. Any parallelogram is made by one pair of line from the four, and one pair of line from the seven. Thus, the number of possible parallelograms is
(4C2)*(7C2) = (6)*(21) = 126
