tot amt he bought it is 2200rs.25%profit is 550rs. totally he should sell 2750.
but he already sold 700 for 1/3kg. remaining 40kg sold by 51.25 for getting 2050rs.

cp1=20*30=600
cp2=40*40=1600
total cp =2200;
total weight=60kg;
1/3rd 0f 60=20;
sp of 20kg=20*35=700;
remaining weigth =40kg
let x be the sp of 40 weight to get 25 % profit;

700+40x=1.25*2200;
=2750
40x=2050;
x= 51.25;

Explanation :-
Cost Price = 20*30 + 40*40 = 2200
1/3 of 60 = 20;
Selling Price = 20*35 + 40x

Since P% = ((SP-CP)/CP)*100
On putting the values
x = 51.25

40kg price=40*40=1600,
----------------------------------------------
total quantity=60kg
and total price=2200,
he sells 1/3of it35rs/kg,
and (1/3)*60=20quentity,
20quentity has sell=20*35=700,
we have 60-20=40quentity=2200-700=1500ru,
he will be sell (125/100)*1500=1875rupe,
40 quqntity has sell=1875,
1 quantity has sell=1875/40=46.875rupes
