So, 16,9 and 4 are the squares of 4,3,2 respectively So Subtract 1 from 41 you will get 40 as answer

because in first two terms difference is 16 then 9 then 4, 4 is square root of 16 so now it will reduce by 9 square root i.e. by 3 so answer will be 38
