(1894-x)=(1894-2x)=3644
3788-3x=3644
3x=144
x=48.........suresh 48 and grandmothe-96...in 1894
1n 1899 suresh is 53

(1894-g/2)+(1894-g)=3644
by solving above g=96=grandmother age
and suresh age=48 at 1894...
at the end of 1899
suresh age=53

Let grandmother's birth year be x
And Suresh's birth year be 3644-x
So grandmother's age at the end of 1894 will be 1894-x
And Suresh's age will be 1894-(3644-x)i.e. x-1750
Now a/c to question
x-1750=1/2(1894-x)
x=1798
So age of grandmother is= 1894-1798= 96
and that of Suresh is 1798-1750= 48
At the end of 1899 Suresh becomes 48+5= 53

Let grandma age is x and suresh age is (x/2) in 1894.sum of the years can be written as {(1894-(x/2))+(1894-x)}=3644.solve this equation we get x=96 that is grandma's age.so suresh age is 46 on 1894,aft 5 years 48+5=53 is the answer

grandmother in 1899=101
suresh in 1899=53
