Sry the question was typed wrong.....it is 9 seats instead of 3.

in 9 seats there are even and odd places
even places:2,4,6,8 i.e,four places so 4p3*3|
odd places:1,3,5,7,9 i.e,five places so 5p3*3|
so answer is (4p3*3|)+(5p3*3|)

IF SUPPOSE THAT 3 ARE PERTICULAR PEOPLE NOT SITTING ADJACENT TO EACH OTHER,...INSTEAD OF 6 EMPTY SEAT WE CAN SAY THAT WE SAY THAT 6 PERSON TO BE SIT IN !6 WAYS THEN....BETWEEN THEM THERE ARE 7 VACENT PLACE BETWEEN THEM THEREFORE THE 3 PLACE CAN BE SELECTED IN 7C3 AND THE ARRAGED IN !3 WAYS SO ..ANS IS 7C3*!3

I am sorry.

They can seat in 2 ways. and answer is correct !!!

A B C -> LET ITS BE THEIR ACTUAL POSITION
C A B -> ONE ARRANGEMENT
B C A -> SECOND ARRANGEMENT

So, there are two arrangements :)
