let x be no of pink face in second cube. So,
there are 4 pink,2 blue faces in first cube,
there are x pink, (6-x) blue faces in second cube,
Probability of having same color when cubes are thrown
(4/6)*(x/6) + (2/6)*((6-x)/6) = 1/3.
Here putting 0 in place of x pink faces satisfies it.
So, there are 0 pink faces in second cube.

So easy,,,,only in case of 0 pink faces you can get probability 1/3

explanation:
lets say x is the number of pink faces on the second cube.
now
4C1.((x)C1) 1
-------------= -----
6C1.6C1 3
from above equation:
4x/36=1/3
so x=3.
thus 3 faces will be of color pink and 3 will be of blue

probability=1/3
total outcomes=total no of faces=6*2=12
pink faces in one cube=4
pink face in second cube=x
1/3=(x+4)/12
x=0(on solving)

number of pink color faces in second cube is 0 reason being the probability is 1/3 of same color faces means number of combination is 12..
so we can get the answer if and only if the the all six faces will be colored blue only in that case we can get the desired result as 6x2=12 so the probability will be 12/36=1/3..
