given no. are 6,12,21,22,27,34 and boxes are a,b,c,d,e,f
now the sum of the entries in each of the extreme row and extreme columns are same i.e. top + bottom row is equal to left most + right most column . this is only possible for 27+6=33 and 12+21=33 . therefore the value of k is 33.

9+c+23 = 14+d+25 => 32+c = 39+d
c-d=7, in qn given numbers, we have 34-27 = 7
hence c = 34 and d = 27.
By adding we get, k = 66
