A snail, climbing a 20 feet high wall, climbs up 4 feet on the first day but slides down 2 feet on the second. It climbs 4 feet on the third day and slides down again 2 feet on the fourth day. If this pattern continues, how many days will it take the snail to reach the top of the wall?

A snail climbing a 20 feet high wall, climbs up 4 feet on the first day but slides down 2 feet on the second and so on second day he climb only 2 feet and then same procedure go on consecutive days


in 2 days he climb up 2 feet
so in 16 day he will climb 16 feet,

but on 17th day he will climb 4 feet ,so he will get the destination,so snail will 17 days take the snail to reach the top of the wall

17th day it will on the top of the wall.
but also slide down 2 feet in 18th day

In every 2 days snail climb up 2 feet (4 feet up and 2 feet down)
if it reach 16 feet with many up and down it will be 16th day
now in 17th day it climb up 4 feet which is equal to the height of the wall.

17 days
as on 16th day it will climb upto 16 feet and on the next day it will be on the top of wall.....without sliding down
