question itself contain ans then why option @shanwaj is correct and @bonthuu let we put x=1.5, then final result will be 5.5+5.5=0
and if we take x=-1.5 final result will be 2.5+8.5=0

both are incorrect ,ans will be no soln ,and it is also given in question itself

2 solutions.because we bave to consider both positive and negative cases of given expression and solve the equations for value of 'x'.
we get solution as 1.5,-1.5
