B. here there are two cases :
case 1: if frst ball chosen is white, then second has to be red -no, of cases are = 3C1*2C1
case 2: frst is red then secnd has to be red=2C1*1C1
total cases would be- 5C1*4C1=20
hence probability=(case1+case2)/total no. of cases
hence answer is=(3*2+2*1)/20 that is=2/5 (B)
