let A be an event to produce 1 music tune.
so, event A contains sample point n(A)=1
and, "the toy train.......produces only two different tunes at random" means the number of sample point at the sample space is n(S)=2
so,the probability to happen ringing 1 tune=n(A)/n(S)
=1/2
now,to produce 4 consecutive music tunes of the same type, the n(S) would be 2^4=16
then, probability for that happening is 1/16
ans:1/16

(1/2)^4=1/16
then 1/16*2=1/8
bcoz 1/16 is 4r one sound , 4r 2 sounds it is 1/8.

a) i in 16

as the probability for a sound to occur is 1/2 as the train can produce only two sounds now.. so toatal probabilty for four consecutive times for a single wistle= 1/2*1/2*1/2*1/2=1 in 16....
