draw the diagram,it will be a right angle triangle
whose sides are 100,60 and 80 (using pythagorous theorem)
draw a perpendicular from foot of wall to ladder and let it be h
so 1/2 *80*60 = 1/2 *100*h
or h=48
now let x be the max side of cube
consider a face of cube,it will be a square
so x^2+x^2=h^2
or 2*x^2=h^2
or x^2=(48^2)/2
or x^2=1152
or x=33.94 m
