A leap year has 366 days, therefore 52 weeks i.e. 52 Sunday and 2 days.

The remaining 2 days may be any of the following :

(i) Sunday and Monday

(ii) Monday and Tuesday

(iii) Tuesday and Wednesday

(iv) Wednesday and Thursday

(v) Thursday and Friday

(vi) Friday and Saturday

(vii) Saturday and Sunday

For having 53 Sundays in a year, one of the remaining 2 days must be a Sunday.

n(S) = 7

n(E) = 2

P(E) = n(E) / n(S) = 2 / 7

366/7=52 weeks and 2 days
n(E)=2
n(S)=7
so p=n(E)/n(s)=2/7

probablity of getting 1 sunday out of 7 days is 1/7.
And in leap year 1 more day could be any btwn mon-sun..
so it is= 2/7..
hence extra day(366th) could be sunday

IN LEAP YEARS=366 DAYS
i.e 53weeks+2days
so getting 2days sunday in a weeks is=2/7

a leap yr has 366 days i.e. 52*7 + 2 days. 52 weeks has 52 Sundays.Now the probability of getting another Sunday from remaining 2 days is 2/7.

in a leap year =366 days means 52 weeks and 2 days
2 day will be... sun & mon, mon & tues, tues & wed, Wed & thurs, thurs & fri, fri & sat, sat & sunday
so probability of 2 sunday = 2/7
