The roots obtained by the first person are 3 and 2, so the equation solved by the first person is (x-3)(x-2)=0 that is x^2 -5x + 6 = 0.
We know that only the constant term is wrong in the first person's case.
So, the co-effecient of x square term is 1 and that of x term is -5.
From the case of the second person, the correct constant term is -6.

So, the equation is x^2-5x-6=0
This can be written as x^2-6x+x-6=0; x(x-6) +1(x-6)= 0;
That is (x-6)(x+1) = 0 which implies, x=6 or -1
So, the roots of the equation are 6 and -1
Answer is 6 and -1
Correct choice is D
