Answer will be 22 minutes.
Because of Rammohans walking, they saved 16 minutes, which means they saved 8 minutes to journey and 8 minutes fro journey.
They saved 8 minutes To journey implies that they met at 5.22 instead of 5.30 as everyday

This implies that they saved 22 minutes

answer is 22 minutes

ans: 8 mins.(when his walking speed equals to her wife speed).

16/2( i.e. it includes up+down time,so divide given time by 2)

since 16 min is difference so ch rammohan covered the distance.. so saved d time of going nd cming back so 16/2 = 8 min is ans

let x be the distance from house to their new meeting point..both have travelled for equal times-> x/s1=5-x/s2, s1 and s2 are speed of wife and husband respectively. distance traveled in 14min =2x=s1*14->eq1..distance not traveled = 2(5-x)=s1*16 -> eq 2 solve for s1 and x.. x/s1 gives time.
