Sol.
Let his age was x (when he died)and birth date is y then
y*(1/59)=x
y=59*x
now we put x value
59*32=1888
59*33=1947
59*34=2006

got only 4 digit multiple less than 1971 so answer is 1947.died at 1980

its illogical question you cant say date of birth because of insufficient data. and according to solutions provided if his birth year is 1947 then his age when he died will be (1971-1947=24 years) if you are guessing it as 33 when he died, then difference between year of birth and year of dead should be 33. so its a wrong answer.

then age= 1971-x
atq, (1971-x)= (x/59)
which gives x as 1938
