Q. In a hospital there are 120 open heart surgeries and 199 stone surgery in a week. A doctor can do atleast 1 and atmost 3 open heart surgery in a week and atleast 2 and atmost 3 stone surgeries in a week.what is the difference between the max and min number of doctore required to do so.

dnt knw the exact questn.anybody knw exact questn plz post it.

120 open heart surgeries needed 120 doctors because a doctor can handle only 1 heart surgery at a time(*consider only atleast now)
so that 120 doctors are enuf to do the stone surgery too.
Max. No. of doctors=120
Now take atmost.
40 doctors are needed for heart surgery.
and for stone surgery 67 doctors needed(67*3=201)
so Max-Min=120-67=53;

minimum number of doctors required =67
maximum number of doctors can not be 120,because each doctor has to do a minimum of 1 heart surgeries and minimum of 2 stone surgeries per week.so we have to consdier the maximum of those two.
i.e,if we consider maximum doctors are 120,then they must do a minimum of 240(120*2)stone surgeries.But here only 199 stone surgeries are happening.
So maximum num of doctors reqd is 99(199 stone surgeries=98*2+1*3)
so the diff is 22(99-67)

Answer: Max=99 Min=67
Solution:
Doctors can perform 120 OHS and 199 SS in a week.
For Max:
if atleast 1 doctor should perform an OHS. SO 120 doctors are needed for OHS.Now when these 120 doctors perform atleast 2 SS so total they will perform 240 SS but only 199 SS they can perform in a week. Hence we check for SS i.e. 199/2=99. Hence max of only 99 doctors are needed.
For Min:
199/3=67 hence only 67 doctors are needed.

My Ans. Max No.of doctors needed=120;
and minimum no. of doctors needed=67;
so 120-67=53

for ops possble no will be1,2,3/
and fo stone srgry....it wll be 2 or 3..
so for maximum no of doctor..one doc. will do only one ops..i.e 120 doc will be required as they (120)also able to do all stone surgry also...
;
for minimum no of doc..take case(3,3)..
so for ops 120/3=40 doc will be required..
for stone these 40 will do max 40*3=120 stone surgry..
so remaining stone surgry..199-120=79 ..this wll requre min of 27 docas 79/3=27 tking all srgry to be done..
so total doc..
40+27=67
diff..
120-67=53...

if we take total surgeries to be 120+199=319 and sum total that a doctor does atleast 3 and atmost 6 surgeries in a week then 319/3=106(app.) and 319/6=53 then max-min=106-53=53 ans.

yaha par kon sa surgery ka doctor mention kiya nahi hai so yaha par 120-40 =80 v ho sakta hai (199/2-199/3) v ho sakta hai and 120-67=53 v ho sakta hai...
