The Series is
1,2,4,9,125,...
=>1^0,2^1,2^2,3^2,5^3
Here the second term is repeated twice but the power increases
so, the 5^3 will be repeated twice but the power will be increased
so, the next term will be 5^4=625
625 is the answer.

given 1 2 4 9 125 so we write it as 1^0 2^1 2^2 3^2 5^3
the series starts with 1^0 and 2^1 for the successive terms

base for 3rd term= base of 2nd term + power of third term
power of 3rd term= base of 2nd term

similarlly
base for 4th term= base of 3rd term + power of 2nd term
power of 4th term= base of 3rd term

so the 6th term will be
base= base of 5th term + power of 4th term
power= base of 5th term
so the 6th term will be 7^5=16807
