12.4*x+26=(5+x)12
solve equation x=85
so 85 wicket is ans

Let the wickets claimed by him before the last match be x.
Total runs he had given = x X 12.4 = 12.4x
Number of wickets now taken by him = (x + 5)
12(x + 5) = 12.4x + 26
⇒ 12x + 60 + 12.4x + 26
⇒ 0.4x = 34
⇒ x = 340/4 = 85
Wickets taken by him before his last match = 85

total no. of runs before = 12.4*x
where x = no. of wickets taken before these match
now
12.4*x+26/x+5=12 (total runs/total wicket = new avg)
solve the eqn x=85 ans.
