1 blue bottle in the fridge.no. of ways to select ,
7c6*5c2 + 7c5*5c3 + 7c4*5c4

Answer=493.
The question was to take 8 bottles out of 12 bottles leaving at least 1 red and
1 blue bottle in the fridge.
so answer is, 12c8-2=493.
because two combinations are exceptions.
in one,7 blue + 2 red,leaving zero blue bottles in fridge.
in another,5 red + 3 blue,leaving zero red bottles in fridge.Right?.

we should have atleast one blue and one red in refregirator so..
12-2=10(total bottles)
7-1=6(blue)
5-1=4(red)
10c6*10c4
=2*10c4=420

Ways to pick 4 cans so that at least one red and at least one blue cans to remain the refrigerator =
total ways to pick 4 can out of 12 - ways to pick 4 red out of 7 red - ways to pick 4 blue out of 5 blue

AS=(d1+d2)/s1+s2
=2d/d(1/s1 +1/s2)
d gets cancel
You get =2/(1/s1 + 1/s2)
