rational no. between any two no. a & b is always infinite.

can be calculated by (a+b)/2 then [(a+b)/2 + a]/2 etc

If m and n be two rational numbers such that m < n then 1/2 (m + n) is a rational number between m and n.
here
1/2(1+5)=3
1>3>5
again rational number between 1 and 3 = 1/2(1+3)=2
and between 3 and 5= 1/2(5+3)=4
1>2>3>4>5
total 3 rational numbers lies between 1and 5

we have to find rational numbers between 1 and 5
formula=(a+b)/2
(1+5)/2=3;
now 1
