answer is 19, 11 yellow+7 purple+after that we have only one option that is to be blue so answer is 19

Minimum number of tries would be :2
we may even get the blue and yellow (BEST CASE)
Maximum number of tries would be:13
we take 7 purple then 5 blue at last an yellow (7+5+1=13)

Answer is 19. For 19 tries we will definitely get atleast one blue and one yellow balls

You have to consider that you are taking one ball at a time.
So minimum no tries are one blue and one yello totally 2 and vice versa.
Maximum is after 19 tries you ll not have any other colour except blue.

7 for purple ball + 5 for blue ball + 1 for yellow ball.

Answer is 19 because if we do 2 tries there are chances that both the balls might be of same color.. it is the same for 13.. Therefore 19 tries. 11 yellow + 7 purple + 1 Yellow = 19.

only 1 try ... as at the 1st trial we can select 2 balls and each 1 from blue and yellow(may be).
minimum is 1 and maximum can go on...
suppose if we replace every ball we take what is the assurance that at 19th trial or at 13th trial we will have 1 yellow and blue ball..
similarly only we obtain 1
