Whenever we talk about has/have, it is the case of Present Perfect and in this form of tense,
we don't talk about specific time period, so we don't mention it.

Therefore, we can conclude that since is not appropriate choice here as it is of past time and 'have' tells us about things before just now.


Had it been 'had been' in place of 'have', then we can say that since would have come.

But for this case,

This question is not defining any period of time or fixed time period.
You are supposed to use for over because it's defining more than five years. so go for over in addition to 'for'. because it's not defining the exact time period so you should use for over.
