Your assignment is to make a delivery from the depot to your base camp, 1600 miles away. The trip begins normally, but unfortunately, halfway to base camp, your supply truck breaks down. You have no way to call for help. Luckily, in addition to medical supplies, the truck is carrying a Desert Patrol Vehicle (DPV) and two barrels of fuel.

The DPV has a full 10 gallon tank, but to make room for the medical supplies, it can only carry one of the 45 gallon barrels at a time. While you can't transfer fuel between barrels, you can refill the tank from the barrels. Assume the DPV can get 12 miles per gallon, regardless of the load it carries.

How far can you go? Is it far enough to deliver the medical supplies and the DPV to your base camp?

=>First i will take a Barrel(B1) full to 60miles(12*5) with burning 5 gallons of my full tank DPV and unload the B1 barrel there
=>and move back to the depo with 5 gallon left and pick another Barrel B2 and fill my tank.So B =45-10=35Gallons
=>Using all the 10 gallons of my tank i reach 120 miles from depo and then refill my tank with barrel B2, hence B2=(35-10)=25Gallons.
=>Now moving back to the spot 60 miles where i placed the barrel B1 with 45 gallons, pick it up and move to the spot where B2 is using the 5 gallon left in tank.
=>Now i am at spot 120 miles from the depo with two barrels B1 with 45Gallons and B2=25Gallons.
=>Again using 10 gallons from B2(25-10=15Gallons) to reach 60miles further and place B1(45gallons) there.
=>reaching back to pick B2 and refilling from B2(15-10=5Gallon) and again moving to the spot 180miles from the depo where B1(45gallons) was placed.
=>At this spot 180miles from depo i will refill my half filled tank with 5 gallons from B2=(5-5=0) and placing the full barrel B1 with 45Gallons.
=>The distance to be covered is 800-180=620miles with the DPV 10 Gallon tank full and barrel B1=45Gallons So with this 55Gallons of fuel i can reach as far as 55*12=660miles
=>Hence medical supplies will be delivered to the base camp with a fuel to carry on upto 20miles more
