3*2=6+1=7
3*3=9+1=10
3*4=12+1=13
3*5=15+1=16
3*6=18+1=19
3*7=21+1=22
3*8=24+1=25

alternate prime no.s--->> 1st no. alternate && +6 diff. in alternate no.s starting frm 2nd no.

3+7 =10
3+10 = 13
3+13 = 16
3+16 = 19
3+19 = 22
3+22 = 25

hence the series 3, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25

Was 34 an option? if it was in the options, den i gues, 34 is d ans.
1st term -> 3 (could not gues the logic for 3 being the 1st term)

2nd term -> 4=3*[1]+1 (1 is an ODD number)

3rd term -> 7=3*[2]+1 (2 is an EVEN number)

4th term -> 10=3*[3]+1 (3 is an ODD & PRIME number)

5th term -> 13=3*[4]+1 (4 is an EVEN number)

6th term -> 16=3*[5]+1 (5 is an ODD & PRIME number)

7th term -> 19=3*[6]+1 (6 is an EVEN number)

8th term -> 22=3*[7]+1 (7 is ODD & PRIME number)

9th term -> 25=3*[8]+1 (8 is an EVEN number)

10th term -> either 28=3*[9]+1 (9 is the next ODD number)
or 34=3*[11]+1 (11 is the next ODD & PRIME number)
Now its up to you, whether to place 9 or 11 in [ ]. If you place 9, den the ans. is 28 which was not in the options and if you place 11, den you have to consider that 1 is an ODD & PRIME number while calculating the 2nd term.

Here is another way....
all has prime number but alternate substraction by 1

17-1=16

23-1=22

31-1=30
So by this method... the answer is 30.

As Series starts with prime number and then a even number and so on... prime number just next to 19 is 23 and hence the answer.

Sum of left most digit and right most digit=next digit on right side
3+4=7
3+7=10
3+10=13
3+13=16
3+16=19
3+19=22
3+22=25
3+25=28 --> 10th term

The series is in Arithmatic progression for 8th term

t8=a+(n-1)d

a=3
n=8
d=3

sub we get t8=28

if we observe carefully we can split the series into two parts
first part is alternate prime numbers ----- 3,7,13,19
second part is increasing even values with a value of 6 ------4,10,16,22
in the given series the last number is 22,so the next number in the series would be alternate prime number after 19 i.e., 29
so the answer is 29

Question : 3,4,7,10,13,16,19,22,___,____,....find 10th term in the series
Solution : (1) Prime Number are : 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29,....in this series they took the alternate
numbers like 3,7,13,19,29,... so here the 9th term will be 29,..
(2) remaining numbers in the questions are 4,10,16,22,.... so here
2x2=4,2x5=10,2x8=16,2x11=22,...here they left 2x3=6,2x4=8, then they include again
2x5=10 again they left number 12,14,...so on,...so at last the answer will be 28,...
Answer :3,4,7,10,13,16,19,22,29,28,...here the 10th term is 28 ,.
